Skills Consultancy

I combine my coaching work with consultancy in the education and training world. I have worked in senior positions in this field for over thirty years. I have strategic and operational experience in the post 16 skills world and I understand the organisational and personal demands of an ever-changing environment.


Even if a consultancy project does not involve formal coaching and mentoring, I find my listening and questioning skills add value to the contracts I have undertaken.


Examples of consultancies:

  • Analysing professional development needs for T level implementation.

  • Preparing resources for use with T levels.

  • Leading an international conference on the U.K. skills system for the  British Council.

  • Supporting employers and providers to adopt world skills standards as part of continuous improvement of apprenticeships.

  • Designing and managing a session on blended learning for the AoC conference.

  • Carrying out a feasibility study into the use of competitions as part of apprenticeship assessment.
